Alexis Y Fido: "Sobrenatural" Los Reyes del Perreo Se Preparan Para Lanzar Su Nuevo Disco en Noviembre

La canción “5 Letras” ya esta sonando y el video junto a Toby Love de la canción “Soy Igual Que Tu” fue firmado el día anterior de esta entrevista. Era un día lluvioso en la cuidad de Nueva York pero eso no paro que la gente salieran a compartir con Alexis y Fido. El dúo “Sobrenatural” esta celebrando el lanzamiento de su nuevo disco (con el mismo titulo).
“Nos sentimos bien contento, por fin ya terminamos el disco [y] ya comenzamos la promoción y es lo que queríamos” admitió Fido. “La gente van a escuchar el disco y [van a ver] que es un disco muy diferente. Siempre va a estar el Reggeatón por que es lo que sabemos hacer y estamos muy orgullosos de lo que hicimos.”
Fido nos contó sobre algunas colaboraciones que estará en el nuevo disco “Van a escuchar temas con Toby Love, tenemos participaciones con el Lapiz de la Republica Dominicana y con Sopla de Miami [entre otros].”
Alexis nos explico que el titulo del disco, “Sobrenatural,” vino por “una búsqueda en el Internet.” El dúo duro mucho tiempo rompiéndose la cabeza tratando de buscar el titulo perfecto. Incluso Fido admitió que con este álbum ellos querían captar lo que ellos han pasado en su carera y eso incluye el éxito que han tenido, “muchas de las cosas que le ha pasado a Alexis y Fido es sobrenaturales entonces quisimos llamar el disco así para que la gente sepan que el disco es algo fuera de este mundo.”
Aunque han tenido éxito siempre hay un poco de ansiedad a cerca de un nuevo lanzamiento pero Alexis asegura que aunque estén un poco nerviosos estarán satisfecho con lo que sea que pase por que son jóvenes “muy humilde de corazón y no de mente. Yo creo que eso es lo mas importante de verdad.” El continuo, “Sabemos que viene mucho trabajo a continuación y que tenemos que estar ready para lo que viene pero eso es el proceso.” “No estamos buscando un numero uno sola mente queremos echar parlante” dijo Fijo.
Parte de ese proceso incluye una gira que comienza en Noviembre, “se llama ‘Yo Soy Mi Barrio Tour' [y] es con Toby Love esta gira estará en varias cuidades aquí en los Estados Unidos. Ya pronto se van a enterar a donde vamos ha estar, en que cuidad y toda esas fechas” concluyo Fido.

The song “5 Letras” (5 Leters) has already captivated the soundwaves and their new video featuring Toby Love for the song “Soy Igual Que Tu” (I’m Just Like You) was filmed the day prior to this interview. It was a rainy day in New York City but that didn’t stop many from going out and supporting Reggeatón duo Alexis & Fido. The “Supernatural” duo was celebrating the release of their latest album (by the same title).
“We feel very happy, we finally finished the album and now we’re staring the promotional process which we were anxious to do” admitted Fido. “People are gonna hear the album and are gonna see that this album is very different. We’ll always represent Reggeatón because that’s what we know and we’re very proud of what we’ve done.”
Fido told us about some of the collaborations that will be in the new album, “You’re gonna hear songs with Toby Love, rapper Lapiz from the Dominican Republic and with Sopla from Miami [among others].”
Alexis then explained how the album’s title, “Supernatural” came about, which included “an internet search.” The duo spent a long time racking their brains trying to come up with the perfect title. In fact Fido admitted that with this album they wanted to capture their triumphs, “many of the things Alexis & Fido have gone through have been supernatural so we wanted to call the album that we also wanted people to know that this album is out of this world.”
Even though they’ve had plenty of success there’s always a sense of anxiousness for any artist when a new album is about to be released but Alexis assures us that although they’re a bit nervous they’ll be satisfied with whatever happens because these guys are “very humble and pure of heart and I think that’s the most important thing for real.” He continued, “We know there’s a lot of work ahead of us and that we have to be ready for what’s to come but that’s the process.” “We’re not looking for a number one hit we’re just trying to move forward” said Fido.
Part of that process includes a tour which starts this November, “it’s called ‘Yo Soy Mi Barrio Tour’ (I’m My Barrio) and it’s with Toby Love. This tour will be in various cities here in the United States. Soon they’ll be dates posted on where we’ll be and in which cities” concluded Fido.
