Deadly Beloved, “Make It Bleed”
Toronto rockers make their US debut with their third studio album, “Make It Bleed,” an album full of energetic epic sounding rock. The tracks are heavy and reminiscing of classic hook-heavy rock n roll. The bands talents are best displayed in tracks like, “Carnival-Onze,” “Acceptance,” and “Fire Escape.”
The Wailing Wall, “The Low Hanging Fruit” (June 8th) Folksy, harmonious vocals are beautifully interwoven with indie-rock elements in The Wailing Wall’s LP, “The Low Hanging Fruit.” The tracks are epic sounding and have tribal elements that transport the album to another dimension. Album opener “Speak Not Its Name” starts off as an a cappella tune and slowly percussion can be heard and other instrumentation trickle in culminating in a full fledge production which includes chanting. “The Low Hanging Fruit” is an experimental album worth checking out.
